In order for a gas to become a liquid, condensation must occur
In order for a liquid to become a gas, evaporation must take place
In order for a solid to become a liquid, melting must occur
For a liquid to become a solid, freezing must occur
When a solid changes to a gas, sublimation must occur
Gas- When atoms are spaced out alot, and there is no definite shape or volume.
Liquid- When atoms are little more spaced out, and it has a certain volume, but no shape.
Solid- When matter has tightly packed atoms, and retains volume and shape.
