Go to college to get a degree as a professional interpreter.You can get a degree in american sign language as an indidual who wishes to learn American sign language to communicate with family, friends, associcates, community memebers and customers. Students will learn ASL vocabulary,ASL grammatical sentence structure. They will need to know awarness and understanding of cultural diversity as it relates to the Deaf community.
