The Armor of God

Ephesians 6 : 10-18

1, Helmet of Salvation

2. Breastplate of Righteousness

7. The Power of Prayer (offensive) The power of prayer is our best weapon. The ability to ask Jesus to be by yourside in your battles if amazing. God loves us all and wants us to succeed in our battles. Expect victory with the power of prayer. Praying in the spirit is a unique gift that only Jesus can give us. ((also known as speaking in tongues))

There are 2 options in warfare::

3.Belt of Truth

4.Shield of Faith

5. Shoes of Peace

6. Sword of the Spirit

7.Power of Prayer

1. Accept a PeaceTreaty:: If you accept this treaty you are surrendering and letting yourself become a slave to the enemy. You are giving up your battle for God and giving into the devil.

2. Engage in Battle:: If you chose to fight the spiritual war. You chose to stand up against the devil and go through the battles to be with Jesus. The battle is neverending, but worth fighting to be with Jesus.

1. The Helmet of Salvation:: (defensive) "My helmet is my hope" Without your head the rest of you is worthless. Without hope there is nothing else. Protect your hope with the helmet.

2. The Breastplate of Righteousness:: (defensive) To be Righteous is to be good with God, not based on what you have done right or wrong. It's what is in your heart. Protect your heart with the breastplate.

There are seven pieces to God's armor. Six are physical and one is mental. Five are defensive and two are offensive. In order to battle the devil we must have and use all seven pieces.

3. The Belt of Truth:: (defensive) The belt holds everything together. Truth holds everything together. Without truth you can lose everything. Hold your truth together with the belt.

5. The Shoes of Peace:: (defensive) We have to find peace in knowing there may be some battles that are out of our control, but have peace in the walk of life knowing Jesus is with you and has put you there. Walk in peace with the shoes.

4. The Shield of Faith:: (defensive) Without faith you have no protection of God. You have to have faith that he will protect you from the enemy and shield you from the devil. Protect your Faith with the shield.

6. The Sword of the Spirit:: (offensive) Having the spirit of Jesus with you will help you fight off your enemy. Spreading the word of Jesus will cut through those demons in yourlife. Bring down your enemies with the sword.
