Flappers where known for not only their style but also there attitudes, they drank heavily, they smoked, flappers danced new dances such as the charleston, they also used slang, drove fast, and freely took lovers and jobs.
Flappers wore short skirts and hats. They cut there hair off to there ears, put it in pin curls, and wore dark red lipstick. This was a very popular style with young women in the 20s.
