Natural Selection Natural Selection is a proccess which species evolve over time due to adapt to the environment which takes millions of years to be complete. One example is Charles Darwin's finches. Each finch population on an island had a specicfic type of beak. In one island, finches had big, bold beaks which was probably because the island has alot of fruits. Big beaks handle fruits easier and they're much stronger in size. In one other island, finches had small thin beaks which were useful to pick up small insects to eat. Those finches have adapted to the environment and gradually in time evolved their beaks too.

DOLPHIN'S IN JAPAN Over the past few weeks i have learnt that dolphin's in Japan are suffering because most of them are getting killed un-sustainably. The fishermen just round up the dolphins, capture them and stab them with a long sharp tool. The Japanese fishermen say the pain only lasts a few seconds forthe dolphins and they get killed instantly, but in the video below, there are dolphins being killed but are still suffering for a number of minutes.
Dome tortoises have evolved their long necks to short necks over time since they live on an island that has lots of food they eat from the ground so they have a better chance of surviving. They have adapted because of the environment...this is Natural Selection.
