Newton
The force that allowed planets to revolve around eachother. It explains questions on Earth and other planets.
Some Accomplishments:

I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it. II. The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Three Laws of Motion:
Gravity

He studied the refraction of light which showed that a prism could break down white light in a spectrum of color.
Theory of Color
The rate of heat loss of a body is proportional to the difference in temperatures between the body and its surroundings.
Empirical Law of Cooling
Three books by Isaac Newton stating the three laws of motion, classical mechanics, Newton's law of universal gravitation, and Kepler's laws of planetary motion.
