MAORI
For the first time ever, the Maori flag Tino Rangatiratanga was flown at Government House on Waitangi Day. The rights to the design are currently under debate between Hone Hawarewa's wife and some other maori families.

SOUTHWELL SCHOOL
At southwell school we have a badge. The two keeys repersent the keys to hevan. the circle on the left side represents the west well. The one on the right side represents the north well. And the one on the bottom is the south well. The white part on the badge means the saints above and the black part on the badge means the saints below. If you look to the bottom of the badge you will see some words saying peraspera Ad asterum. That means reach for the stars.
Ireland
The Ireland flag has a green,white and orange stripe and orange stripe. The green stripe is thought to represent the Irish nationla tradition. The orange stripe represents the orange tradition of Ireland. The white stripe means the pace betwen them.
