Bacteria vs. Animals Some bacteria can move, so scientists once thought that they were animals. But unlike animal cells, bacteria cells have firm walls.
Plants vs. Fungi The kingdom of Fungi is much larger than the plant kingdom. Unlike plants, fungi cannot make their own food. And also most fungi act as parasites, while plants do not. Species of the Fungi kingdom use the sunlight, but not the same way plants use it.
Plants vs. Animals It is not hard to tell most plants from animals., but what exactly makes plants different from animals? First of all , most plants contain a green substance called chlorophyll. Chlorphyll enables them to make their own food . Animals do not contain chlorophyll and cannot make their own food. Second, plants can eat only liquid substances, while animals can eat both - liquid and solid. Third, plant cells are surrounded by hard cell walls made of cellulose. Animal cells contain no cellulose. Fourth, most plants cannot move on their own, but animals can.
Eubacteria vs. Archaebacteria Species from both Eubacteria and Archaebacteria kingdoms are found in extreme environments. Also both kingdoms contain unicellular organisms.
Protista, Animals and Plants: Many protists appear to be both plant and animal. Like plants, they are green and can create their own food and like animals they have moving body parts and are able to move around their environments.
