Many teenagers just want a role model. Most of them look up to media images on MTV,VH1, and other tv stations.
Long-term effects include: -swollen throat -loss of hair -depression -anxiety
Preventing Eating Disorders: -Create healthy lifestyle. -Excercise -Be happy with who you are.
Waring signs: -obsessed with eating -depressed -counting portions -excerise alot -sudden urge to go to the bathroom after every meal.
Many people start bulimia because of bullying. They turn to food as comfort, and then throw it up because they feel guilty about their weight.
Children as young as 6 years old have been diagnosed with bulimia.
