About Lois Lowry Lois Lowry is one of my favourate writers out of all writers that I like. The first book she ever wrote was called 'A Summer To Die'. The book was dedicated to her sister, as she was the reason why the book was written in the first place. Lowry's sister had died at a young age and Lois Lowry decided to write about it. The book is about humans connecting with other humans. Many of her stories, such as 'Number The Stars' also have the same type of storyline. I think Lois Lowry is such a well-known author because she has different styles of writing which are targeted to children, teens and adults.

My favourate book that Lois Lowry's has ever written is 'Number The Stars'. I really like this book because firstly, I think the book is very well-written. Secondly, I really connect with the book because I am too a Jewish person. The story is set in the world war 2. A family of Christians try to help a family of Jews escape the torture they could have gone through. I really connect with that because I know how hard and how much the Jewish people suffered during the war and I appreciate their great achivements.

Check out the 'Anastasia' series by Lois Lowry. They are very entertaining, funny and appropriate for children and teens. Also, read the book 'Find A Stranger, Say Goodbye'. It is an excellet book for teenagers!

I like the way that it is simple and well organised. The information is split up so that the reader could read it easily. The arrows are attractive and there are several links. I like background because it seems like you are writing in your jotter.
