Wanted: Dead or Alive
Who Believes This: One of the main people to believe Thomas was incorrect in his studies was John Lock.e. His view were that man's intentions are benevolent by nature and can live without a central government telling them exactly what to do. This obviously greatly differs from Thomas' view on humans and the acceptable government style. Today, people still believe Thomas Hobbes was a bad man and that his ideas didnt work. For example, there are many people in the world today who dislike our government and think that people should govern themselves or live under an anarchy.
Crimes Even though Thomas Hobbes produced many great ideas, beliefs, and novels he was also viewed as a bad person by some people. There were many different views about how the governments should be run and about how humans naturally acted. Just as Thomas thought humans were evil and selfish other philosophers thought human beings were good and selfless allowing people to live self-governed. Some believed Hobbes was giving the false information.
