Unmerciful Love
Darkness falls across soft satin sheets Here lies one filled with endless sorrow No one to hold her as she weeps There will be blood spilled come tomorrow
Winds echo with the sound of her cries Life to her is a palette of pain No one to see the emotion in her eyes Nothing more from life has she to gain
Memories of the meadow they visited that day When her world was mesmerized by his touch No one is here to make her feel that way How can falling in love hurt this much
Doves are released into the morning air People are serene and dressed in black No one was there to show her they cared Death is the end there is no coming back
Dreams carry her off to an enchanted place Times when she had him to hold and treasure No one to wipe the tears from her face Never to wake again would be a pleasure
