Most, if not all, of Franco's ways of doing things were based off of the way Hitler and Mussolini did things. He had a lot of support from these two dictators. They teamed up in somethings too. Franco's main goal was to take over all of Spain.
In 1923, Franco became in charge of the Spanish Foreign Legion. And in 1928 he was appointed commander of Spain's new Military Acadamy. He became the youngest general in Europe by 1926. During SCW he emerged as the Nationalist's leader against the Popular Front Government. His tactics received important support from Hitler and Mussolini during the Civil War.
