You, Me & Them. Some people just want diamonds, Some people just want pearls, But all I wanted from this life, Was a precious baby girl. Some people say it's wrong, Some people say it's fine, But the only thing I'd care about, Is that this girl is mine. This is not what I had planned, I wanted so much more, I could have made it real BIG, A backing dancer on tour!! But something in my life went wrong, People say I've lost the plot, But they don't know me like you do, You'd say ''She's just forgot'' It isn't easy knowing what I know, Or how I'm feeling inside, A tender body bruised, And a precious baby died. Ever since my younger years, I don't know what's gone on, It's like I live every day with questions like; What if I had won? I had saved someones life that day, Well that is what I'm told, My friends and family telling me, ''For you have been so bold'' This is not what I had planned, I wanted so much more, But I'm sitting here writing this, Dieing on the floor.
