Hurt and feared,
shunned by the world out there,
eyes that mirror none of my good intentions,
only the darkest facet of human nature -
the side I never wanted to see.
Now hidden from the dark world,
and shivering in the cold church for eternity,
cast from my heaven,
trapped in the one place in the mortal world
that should've felt like home.
