PROLOG I walked on the soft sand of myrtle beach in north Carolina. I like watching the waves crash on the beach. Nothing new going on . Sun rising, no sound. Then out of nowhere a huge wolf jumped out of the trees and attacked me. CAPTER ONE I shot strait up in bed. It was the same dream every night. The beach by my house, the wolf. Still it scares me every time. I’m terrified of wolves. I mean there cute and all but they just creep me out. They have big, sharp teeth and kill other animals. “Nala? U wake?” asked a quiet voice. It was my little sister Rachel. “Yeah, Rach you have a bad dream, too?” “uhuh it was of spiders eating me.” Rachel is horrified of spiders and she dreams of them if she had saw one during the night. Why does she come to me and not our parents you ask. Because our mothers dead and our fathers a drunkie. “Come on lets get dressed and go for a walk.” She helped me pick out a black knee length dress and I found her a pink knee length dress with a colorful peace sine on the front. We went out and watched the waves crash on the beach. So much like in my nightmare. I shivered in the humanity. Rachel’s hand was in mine, that was the only difference. It was 5:15 in the morning and it was already 85 degrees out. Then again it is summer.
