Today was one of a few One battle in an Endless War. We're suppose to family and stick together through and through Yet we fall apart like before. Tears have been shed And words have been said Feelings have grown and spread All because my mom wants to wed. My granny out of the good of heart Screams and criticizes out loud Tell my mother to be smart Tell my mother what is allowed. My grandpa is stuck in between Trying to please one and all The queen bee, mother and teen However, nothing has worked and he's stuck in a brawl My mother never felt loved Has finally found "the one" Growing up with a mother unloved Feeling like the bad guy and being shun What she doesn't know Is that the family is falling apart My granny is telling her to go Find a new home and depart Here I am, a bystander of this war Trying to ease and figure out a compromise I don't want us to fight anymore. And I hope this doesn't lead to good - byes. Growing up without fatherly love I'm starting to lose my mother too. Always been pushed and shoved Just needed an "I love you".
