Dear idols, This is for anyone willing, to stand up, stand out, sing out loud. This is for people who want to show themselves. For the people who cry because they are hurting to protect someone. For the people who have people hurting them who don't care. For the dreamers, the misfits, the out of the mainstream. This is for the people who know they are different and are not afraid of it. Because they know they are beautiful. They look in the mirror and see beauty. They know they are beautiful because it is not only skin deep. It is in the expression of the eyes, the curve of a confident smile, the flush of triumph, or the glistening tears. True beauty has to be known, not seen. If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, i imagine it would stick like a contact lense to that eye. They would turn away from the mirror and look upon the world. And they would see beauty. There would be flaws, but are there not flaws in the skin? The hair? The face? When you can see the real beauty along with the ugliness and scars, you have won. Some cannot. Some don't know how. Some will not try. But each one of those people contribute an artless picture to the gallery of souls. When yours is passed in the gallery, people know. They comment on such a wonderful painting. They wonder how it is so amazing. So this is for those with the brilliant paintings. Who see the beauty in the mirror. This is for the ones who shine like stars peering through the clouds. If this is you, speak to me. You are worth knowing. I am young, and i see some of the beauty. Help me see more. There is beauty in scars, in pasts. There is beauty in pictures, in stories. Don't only show me. Show the world. Show how to be the star looking through the clouds to the dimmer twinklings. Show your beauty. You are my idol, great stars. My wonder, great paintings. My friends, there in the mirror. I respect your beauty. This is for you. A.
