Tourism/famous landmarks One of the most famous landmarks in philippine history is the Rizal park. Rizal park is located at the heart of manila( capital city). Years ago, this park was once named Bagumbayan. Then later called Luneta. Rizal park holds many significant monuments . Among them are the execution of Jose Rizal. Who was made a hero. The park was then renamed Rizal park to commemorate him.

One other famous landmark is the great lion's head. The lion's head lies along Kennon Rd. and is located in Baguio city,. The 40 foot high lion head was carved by a Cordillera artist from a limestone boulder.
