Summer's fresh, crisp air scent I smell it as it wafts by me Days like these are well spent The sky is as blue and clear as I can see I walk like I'm floating on a cloud Bobbing through a peaceful meadow Sun illuminating on a dirt path thats plowed I pivot behind me and glimpse at the trees' swaying shadows My dress is flowing gently in the wind It's the color of a full moon Thread made of silk beautifully spinned At dusk, It sparkles like a silver spoon I gaze at my bare cream-colored feet Wiggling my toes and wrinkling my nose Thinking about the water they are about to meet The natural water coming from waterfall; not a hose As I reach the pond, I hear the falling drops Drip-Drop-Drippity-Drop; a beat my heart falls in rhythm with Across the trinkling water, near the edge, a bunny hops Once again my heart mimics within I look down to see a young girl in lace High cheekbones and round blue eyes Long, blonde hair, slightly ruffled from the wind, frames her heart shaped face Her legs are long, somewhat petite, but she is fair size Light freckles cover her nose and rosey pink cheeks From the angle of the sun, her nose casts a shadow on her full lips A smile has taken over , showing white gleaming teeth She giggles at the way she sways her hips She batts her long eyelashes Knowing she always knows what to think As I look at my reflection I am happy, no expectations But to be myself. . . . .
