The curious incident of the dog in the night-time was about a boy named christopher. Christopher is an autistic child, he can't relate to people but relates to animals, he especially can't stand to be touched.

The child then finds his neighbor's dog dead, he then decides to try and find out who the murderer could be. the father then tells him that it was him that killed the dog. chritopher then felt unsafe with his father so he decides to go and live with his mother.
