There are alot of sights to see in Chile but the two sites that are a must see are Santiago and Arica. Arica has good beaches and has the famous San Marcos Cathedral. In Santiago there is the Virgin Mary which is on the peak of the Cerro San Cristobal.

Chile is slightly smaller than double the size of Montana. It has low coastal mountains, fertile central valley,and rugged Andes in the east. The climate temperate. There is desert in the north Mediterranean in central region, and cool and damp in the south.
Geography
In the 16th century Chile was under Inca control. Gaining its independence in 1810, Chile gained its northern regions by defeating Peru and Bolivia in the War of the Pacific. In 1541, a man named Pedro de Valdivia founded Santiago.
