The Silk Roads
Food and goods weren't the only things that were traded along these routes, animals were as well. Many people imported domesticated animals in trade for the Silk and rare goods that were there to offer. This is how they negotiated with one another.
The Routes began in ancient commercial centers of China and extended into both northern and southern routes. The north routes included Chang'an (capital of the Chinese Kingdom) and the southern route ran through northern India and into Anatolia.
The Silk Roads was a trade route between the Mediterannean Sea and China. They were important for cultural and technological trade for pilgrims, nomads, missionaries, and soldiers for many years.
Some items that were traded was of course Silk, gunpowder, China, and porcelain.
The impact that the Silk Roads made for the people of Asia, Africa and Europe is that it pretty much modernized the cities. Before the Silk Road, there was basic trades. Now that something more valuable came along - the price of their lifestyles increased as well.
During my journey across and through the Silk roads, I came across both very difficult and interesting encounters. I first came across a beautiful mystic that predicted my entire future and even told me some of my past. My fate felt strong at the moment and I took as much advice as possible.
One of the difficult factors that I had to deal with was the death of my company. Due to the many hazards along the roads, such as it being so crowded and uncleansy - my mate got extremely sick and couldn't rejuvenate himself.
