Geothermal Energy
Geothermal energy comes from the center of the earth and the sun. Magma also helps because of it's heat. The heat from the center of the earth comes from about 4,000 miles below the ground beneath our feet. This heat can be hotter than the sun its self. That kind of heat is made by the slow decay of radioactive particles. The mantle, made up of magma and rock, is around the core and about 1,800 miles thick. The earth's crust is made up of plates and near the edges of these plates magma comes and this is where the volcanoes occur. Volcanoes produce lava that contain magma, which means it will get even hotter the more volcanoes erupt.
What is geothermal energy That's a question we can answer. The defintion of geothermal energy is - energy derived from the heat in the interior of the earth
