Online Learning
Filling instructional gaps....
Supports meaningful, authentic student learning.....
Online learning brings excitement to learning that textbooks and worksheets lack. Students are able to connect to the material easier because the content and process is now more relevant. Differentiated instruction is accomodated by the different programs and technologies that are available. Students are able to express themselves using digital tools where they can show creativity, commitment, and self-directed learning.
Students now have options. They can create a Prezi, Glogster, or Blog. The material is real and can be incorporated outside of school walls. Students are eager to learn when they are involved with online learning communities, digital storytelling presentations, etc.

Resistance to Online Learning.... Afraid of change. Possible glitches with the technology. Time consuming.
