What this I-search meant to me: My dream is to become an actor; I am searching for information on acting. I already knew that becoming a famous actor was going to take a lot of hard work and concentration and a lot of sweat and effort. I always thought that being an actor is the easiest thing in the world, but then I came to find out that it wasn’t. But I am willing to put forth all the effort needed so that I can be a successful actor. My dream is very realistic, because people that had no money and nobody knew how they were were still able to make it they just had to work twice as hard. Yes I will continue to strive forward because this is something I love to do, when I am acting I feel so special. There are fewer questions to be answered due to the I –search.
What I learned I learned that you can’t become an actor by buying your way into it you have to have talent to make it big and if you let it go to your head then you won’t be able do the very best that you possibly can. I learned that when you make music videos that is considered acting as well because you have to act along with the song and show the emotions that are present in the song. Adam Lambert for example is an actor and a musician and he acts while doing his music videos. I also learned that if you don’t love acting then you shouldn’t become an actor. Thankfully I love acting!!!!
My search process It wasn’t hard to find the information I needed. I used Google to find my pictures and information about acting. One of the colleges I looked at for acting is http://www.nyfa.com/ and I also looked at the college costal Carolina University a local college around here in Conway. I found that I will have to for to college for four years and during that process I plan on transferring to another college in New York or in California and from there I hope to make it big. I looked at other actors and actresses biographies and found out that not all of them had it easy. Some really had to work as hard as they possibly could and then it ended up paying off in the end. Here is also another school that I applied to: http://www.toa.edu/request-information and found out even more information about acting. To other people this might seem overwhelming but to me it sounds pretty simple. I wanted to just stop looking when I found out how hard it was going to be but then I remembered that this is my dream and there is no way that I am going to give up that easily.
