Supernatural is a series about two brothers Sam and Dean Winchester who adopted their fathers job: hunting demons vengeful spirits cursed objects and anything else that falls under the supernatural category.
In the first season they attempt to trackdown and kill the yellow eyed demon ''Azazel'' they succeed in tracking him down but they fail in killing azazel as he posseses their father and cant bear the pain of killing their father to kill azazel so he escapes which leads to a huge bump in the road for the two brothers in the second season.

the guy who plays the dad is out of THE WATCHMEN movie as "the commedian"
