Comments On Style: The book is written in third person . It is quite important to the story that it is written in third person, because if it was written in first person, everything would be ''I'' not ''She'' .the main characters may be more fully developed,. the settings are paintakenly described. One quote I remember about the setting is : ''Rorie stood motionless as she took it all in : there was the Statue of Liberty, in all her glory; there were downtown Manhattan skyscrapers, dominated by the Freedom Tower... and the top of the Empire State Building was just visible.'' It is special, because the author tells us everything that Rorie sees, so that I can picture the whole scene in my mind, it feels like I am looking at the scene through Rorie's eyes. The characters' feelings, emotions and attitude are explained very well. Whenever anything happens, the author will immediately describe the feelings and emotions involved. One description of Rorie's feelings is, ''Still the fire burnt inside Rorie, spurring her on with a passion . She glittered and glowed under the lights, suddenly she adored golden girl-boy. She felt powerful -and spitting with anger- the whole thing coming to her as naturally as if- well, as if she'd been singing it all her life.'' In my opinion, it is one of the best books ever written. I love it because of the style that Fiona Dunbar writes in .When Rorie becomes another person, the author describes how Rorie feels and what she can do. My favourite moment in the story is at the end of the story when Rorie has to make sure that everyone gets unhypnotized from the chip that Misty put in their bodies, that is in a spider tattoo on their ankles. That bit is really interesting because it explains how Rorie feels and all the things she does to make sure that Misty doesn't control anyone. Misty hypnotized Nolita, so that whenever Misty said, ''It's nothing to worry about.'' Nolita would relax and not bother about what Misty was doing, even if it was bad. After reading this book , I feel light-headed. Lots of things happen in the book and they all turn out fine in the end. The pace of the story is fast ,Which is one of the reason why I like this book,. I learnt that you should not give up, no matter what people say. Also, always be prepared for trouble, it may come anytime, anywhere! People can change over time, they won't always be the same merry person you knew before. They can become worse or better. This book, stands out. It is special because of Rori’s power, and abilities. its just so interesting!I would definitely recommend this book and will get more books by this author, I really enjoyed this book and know that you will too!

I love this book. . . it managed to zap me out of the real world. . . :p

Plot: In the story, Rorie Silk and her sister Elsie Silk go in search of their parents. They experience lots of hard times, but get over it soon . The plot is : Their scientist parents have mysteriously disappeared. What can they do? Look for them? So they run away from their home to face the world. They encounter lots of big boulders trying to block their way, but eventually find a solution to their problem . I find the situation quite unusual, because I don't know of anyone who has the power that Rorie has, or will ever have. I don't think there are many children that will go in search of their parents who have mysteriously disappeared. The beginning of the story is interesting but unclear, which nevertheless I like, because it makes the reader want to keep reading to find out the plot . The climax of the story occurs when Rorie and Elsie escape and find themselves trapped on ''Minimerica'' (an island) , with people thinking that they are trespassers. The story ends with Rorie and Elsie not finding their parents, but they might, in the sequel! Characters: The story has three main characters, they are: •Rorie (Aurora) Silk •Elsie Silk •Nolita Newbuck Rorie (short for Aurora) is very special girl. Whenever she wears someone else's clothes, she becomes that person . This ability can help her get out of lots of trouble! Elsie is Rorie's younger sister. She is seven years old. She doesn't have this ''chameleon'' changing ability, but she is,all the same, very adorable. Elsie is really cute, because she talks in a baby-ish voice. Nolita Newbuck is a rich woman ,who lives in a huge house with manypeople helping her. You can't call them her slaves or helpers, because they are just like her friends, albeit helping her. Nolita the Fashion Queen .There is a phrase in the book that made me feel as if Rorie was a real person., it is: '' Nolita must never know that Rorie changed like a chameleon ; whenever she put on someone's clothes; if she found out, they'd be without a home again, since Nolita was bound to find it creepy and weird, just as the girls at Poker Bute Hall had done.'' My favorite character is Rorie, because she keeps changing into different people in order to get out of trouble. it is also funny to see how she gets out of trouble and what she does and feels like when she's a different person . There are arguments between Nolita and Rorie, especially when Nolita finally finds out about Rorie's secret and learns that Rorie had worn her dress, became her, and logged onto her computer and searched through her files. As I read the book, I can tell that Rorie is very caring of Elsie and is also very capable. She is a very good elder sister to Elsie Elsie is very loyal to Rorie, because when she has to choose between Rorie and Nolita, she chose Rorie.even though Nolita had become the center of Elsie's universe.

Hey Geri, I think you did an a m a z i n g job here! This book really suits you lol. I think you can improve your glog by adding songs or a video. You have an awesome description that describes everything I need to know about this book!
