Boston Tea Party
-Tax on tea. -Tea was on a high demand so the taxerswould make alot of money. -The colonist dumped 340 chest of tea into the Boston Harbor. -Merchents were hidding tea.
Sugar Act -First Act -In 1764 -Tax on sugar and Mollases -The Prime minster wanted to raise money for the army.
Stamp Act -1765 -Colonist had to buy stamps when they purchased paper. -Tax on any papers including newspapers and playing cards. -Colonist boycotted british goods and the law was removed in 1766.
Boston Massacare
-People felt pressured by british soldiers. -Fighting and arguments were common.. -Angered Colonist. -A soldier struck a colonist and this resulted in open fire.
