Narcolepsy
Narcolepsy cannot be cured but it is suggested that people with this avoid caffine, alcohol, nicotine, and heavy meals. Scheduling daily naps can also help.
Prognosis
There is no real cure to narcolepsy, but there are drugs that can supress many of the synptoms, such as the sleepiness and cataplexy.
Treatment
The cause is not excatly known, but some scientists think it may be a defficancy of the brains production of hypocretin.
Causes
Some of the symptoms of Narcolepsy include Excessive daytime sleepiness, cataplexy, hallucinations, or sleep paralysis.
