Beautiful Stars
I envy the stars Their beauty at night Without even trying They create such a sight They're so up high They twinkle and glow Yet I stand alone So dull and down low Just a touch is my wish What a gift that would be But they are much too high So I can only see Their beauty owns us all And I wish one could come my way with a slight fall So I can annouce to the world 'I touched a star' Even though they're out of my reach because they're so far
