What I thought of the book

My favorite charictor

This book is all about a boy called Danny Watts who lives in Foxcroft which is a privately owned hostel for teenagers in Camberwell, south-east London. All of Danny’s life he has dreamed of becoming a soldier. But there is one problem: The grandfather he's never met, army hero Fergus Watts, betrayed his country by selling out to the Colombian drug cartels, and now family history is keeping Danny out of the army. Because Danny's grandfather smothered his dreams of ever being a soldier in the army, he decides to track down Fergus Watts and tell him how much he has ruined his life. But when Danny finds his grandfather, he finds out that it wasn't Fergus Watts who betrayed his country, but a man called Finchman who works for M16. He also finds out that Finchman is trying to kill Fergus Watts and he is tracking him down trough Danny.

I really enjoyed reading this book as it has a very good story line and the writers made it more interesting because he explained it really well so it was easy to follow. I also liked it because it made you feel like you are a character inside the book. My favorite part in the story was when Danny and his grandfather escape from Finchman’s agents as the writing makes your heart pound faster as they only just get away from the agents. The only bad thing about this book was that it was hard to determine what the people look like in the story as the writer doesn't explain them very well. Overall I really enjoyed this book, but i feel that they needed to describe the characters better. 8/10!

My favorite character in this book would have to be Danny Watts because he is an amazing soldier as he is a great athlete and he is very brainy as he can get out of sticky situations. I also admire him because he has gone through allot in his life like getting bullied at school because of his family history.
