Daniel Vettori was in a car crash when he was about 15 years old. He was in a school mini van on the way back from a soccer match when the driver fell asleep. He injured his back and could now only bowl slow or spin.

Vettori is a great all rounder. He is a slow left arm orthadox spinner and often bats at number 8. He is also a top fielder, great to watch.
