The plasma technology is pretty basic, it all starts with tiny, colored flurescent lights that need to be illuminated in order to form an image. Every pizel is made up of three different colored flurescent lights, red, green, and blue. Like a CRT TV, the plasma dispay changes the intensities of the different lights to produce a rull range of colors.
HOW IT WORKS
Plasma screens are a lot more fragile than most TV technologies, and occasionally, when images are left on the screen for a long amount of time, a burn-in may occur, which causes the image to linger even after you want it to change to something else.
DISADVANTAGES>>>>>>>>
Since pixels are individually lit, the picture is extremely high quality and bright. A plasma screen TV uses a very wide screen which is compatible with a thin design, making it easy to move(depending on how wide you want it), and able to place it in small areas.
ADVANTAGES
Pricing is usually around $500, depending on the size of your screen.
