Corpus Christi
Corpus has alot of vacacion spots for tourists' around the world! In 2007, Corpus introduced a brand new skate park to the town; it is located on the shores of the Corpus Bay near down town. It is 12,000 square ft. and also has a 18 ft. deep bowl. The Bay which joins into the Gulf is also a major attraction. The U.S.S is a major attraction also. It brings in over 10,000 visitors per year and is parked on the Gulf. This is an old World War ll ship that travelled to Japan many times. It is called the Blue Ghost because the Japanese destroyed it many time but it always came back. This ship was an aircraft carrier that still has some historic crafts of board.

Corpus is a pretty big city in terms of being in the South. The estimated population of Corpus in about 277,454 people.

Corpus has five school districts, CCISD, (Corpus Christi Independent School District) Calallen ISD, Flour Bluff ISD, Tuloso ISD, and West Oso ISD.
The weather in Corpus is very nice, and hot in the summer. It can get very humid also. The average rainfall per year is 34 inches, the average humidity is 61%, and the average temperature is 65 degrees. Corpus Bay is a very nice place to be in the summer if you want alot of sun too. It is located on the Gulf and all of it's main shipping points are located there.
Interesting Fact: The Bay of Corpus Christi was founded by a man named Pineda in 1519. Pineda was a famous hispanic exploror.

Corpus is a very populated city, with over 23 factories and other main corparations. Corpus has a total of 4 major hospitals which serve every hour on the hour. The Bay of Corpus supplies alot of jobs. It has a main shipping line connected with New Orleans, and some other chains in Mexico. Ships carry in supplies for the state and the city ships many other products out too.
Corpus has alot of city get-togethers and meetings. Every year, the city holds a carnival for all the people to come and enjoy their time. It is called the Buccaneer day carnival which is always held near downtown
