If the exponent of 10 is positive, the number will be > / = 10. Move the decimal point to the right.
How do we use it?

Move the decimal the number of places shown in the exponent of 10
If the exponent of 10 is negative, the number will be < 1
If the number is > / = to 10, Make the exponent positive and move the decimal point left.

If the number is less than 1, Make the exponent negative. move the decimal point to the right.0.000 000 000 131=1.31 x 10-10
