A drama teacher’s first responsibility is to push your students to be creative. You have to make them understand you are there to help them. You have to work with the acting, costumes, lights, props, and anything that has to do with performing. Cummunication is very important, you have to talk to students and make them know you are listening.
You have to be very ethical when you deal with kids. You have to be patient with them. But as a teacher you to have to discipline them and you have to try to be ethical about that.
Outlook
I believe that there won't be one specific place where drama teachers are going to be heavily needed. I think every where should have a drama teacher so kids can express themselves through acting.
Math, Science, Writing, & Tech.
This job uses a little bit of math and writing when grading and writing scrips. Science is used a lot in this job to solve problems between kids and problems that have to do with any part of performances. Technology is used in lighting and other props in performances.
