BREAKING DAWN
Breaking Dawn is the fourth book in the Twilight Saga. This series is about a young girl named Bella, who goes to Forks to live with her dad. Upon going to Forks she meets a mysterious family, who end up being all vampires. The good thing though is that they are dedicated to protecting human life a.k.a they only drink animals blood. Bella has a mysterious link with the youngest Cullen son, Edward. After books 1, 2, 3 they fall in love. In the fourth book they get married. I won’t spoil the rest of the book, but I advise you to read the saga as they are some of the best books I have ever read. My favourite character in the book would have to be Bella, the main female character. I like her because she is such a good person and always looks after everyone else before herself. Bella narrates 2/3 of the story and she just connects with almost every person who reads this book. She does aggravate me sometimes due to the fact that she sometimes can be too penitent and sometimes too kind. She is rather like a saint. Jacob, another character in the book, also agrees and says “That Bella was born in the wrong century – she should have been born in a century, when she could have been burned at stake as a martyr” I have a number of other favourite characters as well. They would be Edward, Jacob, Emmett and Alice. Edward is every girl’s dream of what they eventually would like as a boyfriend or a husband. Jacob and Emmett I love because of their humour and the parts that they play in the book. They are both extremely funny and had me in stitches for certain parts of the book. Alice because she is a quirky, kind funny character that just takes a place in your heart and stays there. My favourite chapters would have to be the “summit” scene at the end of the book, the wedding and also the honeymoon chapter. The honeymoon and wedding chapters captured my heart because it is pretty much lots of picturesque scenes with moonlight, sunlight and feathers. It is almost any person’s dream vacation. The wedding because altogether the effect of Stephenie Meyer’s creative writing just makes you want to BE at the wedding. To BE part of the wedding. But mainly I like the “summit” scene because it is full of excitement, thrills, action and amazing descriptive writing. Instead of the longing for you to be there, there is the feeling of BEING there. Breaking Dawn and the Twilight Saga in general are the best books that you could ever read. I really wish that there are lots more of these books coming out soon so I can live the adventure with Bella, laugh at all the jokes like Emmett, feel the devotion of Edward and mostly just experience an amazing piece of writing that has hit the bestsellers list so many times.
