Two months after 16-year-old Carrie had been beaten within an inch of her life by her boyfriend, she was allowed to leave the hospital. He had broken her arm, fractured her jaw, and given her internal bleeding. She was lucky to have survived. She was a frail girl; he was a lot bigger than her and two years older as well. Her parents were so glad he had been put away, so he could not hurt her again. He was in jail, but she still feared him. What happened if he escaped, or if they let him out? Her psychiatrist consoled her. They spoke about her fears, but Carrie could not believe the doctor no matter how hard she tried. The medications she took dulled her fear slightly, but she jumped at every sound, and was too scared to go anywhere alone. Sometimes she wished he was dead so she could get on with a normal life again.

Paranoid

In the end, her parents were so worried they moved to another

state, hoping a fresh start would help their daughter. It seemed to be working. A few months later, Carrie finally began to settle. Her smile and laughter returned, and she slowly began to relax. Then one day she was at the shopping centre with her mother, and she caught sight of a figure out of the corner of her eye. It was him! He was standing at the other side of the supermarket, just staring at her. His muscles were bulging, larger than they had been before. Distance made his face slightly blurred, but it was definitely him - same shaped face, same hair, and same clothes. Her face paled. She became dizzy and fell to the ground in a faint. Once revived, and home in bed, she told her mother. Her mother called the prison and found that he was still in there. It must have been someone who had looked a bit like him. That was all. Carrie felt stupid, but her mother told her it was natural and not to worry. It would take time for her fear to go. Carrie wondered why his clothes had been the same, though. The only conclusion she could come to was that she was reading too much into it. She was so paranoid, and it had all been a nasty coincidence. She pushed him out of her mind, or tried to. Then, at school a couple of weeks later, when she was sitting eating lunch in the yard, she saw a boy standing near the school entrance. It was him again! She was sure! Same clothes, same hair, but just enough out of view for her to see his face clearly. His evil smile,however, appeared to be the same. She ran and hid in the bathroom and would not come out until the principal called her parents to come and get her. Again her mother called the prison and he was still there, behind bars. After seeing him two more times over the following weeks, Carrie began to become even more paranoid and thought the people at the prison were lying to her parents and that he had escaped. She refused to go to school. She would not leave the house. She became pale and gaunt. Her parents were so worried, they decided to book her in at the psychiatric ward in the hospital before she had a complete breakdown. Even her new psychiatrist agreed that Cassie needed more help, but there was a waiting period of a week. It was the longest time of her life. The days dragged on and everyday she made her mother call up the prison, just to console herself. The day before Carrie was due to go, she glanced out of her bedroom window, and there he stood, across the street. Just standing there again. Staring. She was home alone as her parents were at work. As he waved and began to walk towards her house, Carrie screamed. There was no escape. He was coming to kill her properly this time. She knew she had no time to call the police or her parents. Panic set in. She could not take it anymore. She was going to beat him to it this time. She ran into the kitchen, still screaming. She picked up the sharpest knife she could see. She locked herself in the bathroom, sobbing and shaking as she thought she heard a knock on the front door. She drew the knife across both wrists, feeling no pain, and slid down the wall. Asher blood pooled on the floor, and on her clothes. There was a bashing on the bathroom door. "Leave me alone!" Carrie screamed. Then she laughed wildly. “ I beat you to it, you bastard! You can’t get me now!” The banging continued as the life drained out of her. She could hear a man yelling. The voice sounded familiar and it wasn’t her ex- boyfriend either. She could not move. She felt so light-headed and darkness soon enveloped her. By the time her father had managed to break down the door, as he had come home to check on her, it was too late. He found his only child lying in her own blood and cried out in devastation. Her anguished parents figured her paranoia had won, for when they did a final check, her boyfriend was still in jail. He laughed when he heard of her death and happily sent the rest of the money owed to the man he had hired to play himself to torment her. His plan had worked perfectly. Her parents grieved for their loss and thought their daughter had been paranoid and had tipped over the edge. They never found out the truth. Never.

man i really want hair like that and ive seen this before already but this story is good like really good like better than amazing! u should really write a book i would so buy it and others would too
