There was a girl named Tamar. She was the daughter of a family of 5 children and she was beautiful. Therefore her father built an island on the center of the lake and she started to live there. Once upon a time a boy swam to the lake and he saw Tamar. They fell in love. Tamar always held a lantern to him to come to island. Her father heard that and one day her father held the lantern and he lost his direction. He started to drown and he died. While he was drowning, he shouted “aah tamar”. Since that day the island's name was “Ahtamar”.
