The streets are decorated in white lantons and their are flowers everywhere because it is a flower festival. Alos people go to the statue of Buddha and bnow down at him and meditate.
Men wear kimonos and it is a dark colour and the older men wear staw hats. Woman were kimonos alwell but theirs are in bright colours and they paint their faces white and have red lips.
Mostly Buddhas in Japan celebrate Hana-matsuri and it is celebrated because it's Buddha's birthday
