Sadaam Hussein, the leader of Iraq.
The soldiers who fought in the 8 year war. The Iraq War.
The soldiers in the 100 hour war. The Persian Gulf War
The causes of the two wars are very similar, but they are also different. The way they are similar is because in 1991 Sadaam invaded Kuwait, in 2003 the war was started because Sadaam used the weapons and poisons he had against Iran. Another way they were similar is because Sadaam was unwilling to leave Kuwait in 1991. In the 2003 war Sadaam refused to leave Iraq. They way they were started is also different because the Persian Gulf War was started because Iraq wanted Kuwaits oil.
Many events happened during both wars that were similar. The similarities are the bombings of Iraq. That happened in both wars. The differences are in the Persian Gulf War Iraq invaded Kuwait. In the Iraq war they captured Saddam.
In both wars most civillians were killed in the bombs that were used to attack Iraq. The differences of the effects were Iraq had to follow the U.N. resolutions after the Persian Gulf War. 151.1 billion dollars were put toward the war bill.
I think the government should and shouldn't have gotten involved. If they never got involved Saddam could still be alive and causing problems. I think we shouldn't have gotten involved because it caused more problems for the U.S too.
