Fall of Greece and Rome
Fall of Greece Alevander the Great took control over Greece. He spread culture throughout the city-states of Greece. When he died a man named Philip V took control of Greece. When this happened the Romans took advantage of this and invaded Rome after the Punic War. These wars between Greece and Rome were known as the Macedonian Wars. In the end Rome won the war and defeated the Greeks and took control of Greece. In addition to taking control of the Greeks, the Romans also stole the Greeks culture.
Fall of Rome The Fall of Rome was similar to a bomb imploding. It was from the inside out. The reasons for Rome imploding were an icrease of crime and violence due to the gladiators; disease and plague due to the poor people being infected and spreading it thoughout the city, and the farms dying out. The famrs dying out cause the people of Rome to not have an adequate food supply. It also left farmser with no work. Another reason why Rome imploded was because of taxes being raised to keep the military running. Not advancing in new technologies is another reason why Rome imploded. This caused them to lose territory.. The last reason for their fall was that they couldn't effectively decide on a new empire. All of these reaons allowed barbarians to invade and take contol of Rome, thus starting the Dark Ages.
The Dark Ages occured because of the Fall of Greece and Rome and severall other reasons. Another the reason that contributes to the Dark Ages occuring is disease being spread form the sewers(rats) infecting other people. The people that were infected most likely died. Another reason is that nobody came up with any new culture, ideas, or technology due to no territories were invanding other territories. The last reason why the Dark Ages occured is that none of the territories could decide on or elect a ruler. All of these reasons gave way to the Dark Ages occuring. The Dark Ages were a step back to man-kind instead of a leap forward.
