We stopped talking That was it, simple, no argument, no fall out Not even drifting away One day you just didn't come back One day you just left me Left me to face the world alone That was months ago I doubt you even remember me I remember you though You saved me when I needed it most You held my hand when I needed help balancing As I walked along the edge of that abyss within myself You pulled me back into the real world I wish though you would come back Not to save me Or hold my hand But just to be my friend again
