India's Landforms
The Himalayas are one of Indias major landforms. The Himalayas form a natural border between India and the rest of Asia. Mount Everest is the Himalayas highest point, but it does not exist in India. It borders China and Nepal.
The Brahmaputra River is one of the major rivers in India and in Asia itself. It origins in Tibet , and then flows across southern India through the gorges of the HImalayas. The river is an important source for irrigation and transportation in Asia.
The Thar Desert is one of the largest deserts in India. It is also known as the Great Indian Desert and it is a huge, arid, region that stretches over an area of more than 200,000 km. It is the worlds 18th largest desert.
Highest Peak: Kachenjunga India is bordered by the highest mountains in the world, the Himalayas. India is the seventh largest country in the world
