Inside my mind Chained mercilessly against a cold, harsh, wall, Nothing but silence piercing her ears, Deafening screeches haunt her in the night, This is the eternity she awaits, Hope drives her on, perhaps its all a dream, Her torn, scarred hands search for the light, Blinded by darkness, she screams her life away, She knows he will never return, Alone she lies with nothing but tears, Thoughts, dreams memories run in her head, Fears drowns happiness, the darkness floods in, She lies motionless, in tatters on the floor, Her body crumples, crushed by hate, The beat of her heart slowly fades, Tears of fear turn to blood of pain, With a final breath she dies in vain.
