BaCkGrOuNd!! louis came into power by inharitence, when his dad Louis XII passed away. At the age of 14 Louis took the throne as leader. Louis married a women by the name of Marie Antoinette Elisabeth Vige-Le Brun.

AbSoLuTe mOnArCh louis was an absolute monarch because he was in complete control over his military. louis also had complete control over all of the currency. he weakend the nobles power to almost nothing, louis taxed all of the middle class so that he can build himself a beautiful palce. he also tooke control over whatever he wanted.

AcHiEvEmEnTs Louis centralized the government. He also attemted to make the huguenots convert to Catholicism.. Louis also achieved absolute power in France.

DoWn FaLl Of lOuIs Louis downfall came to him when he exhasted the wallet of france, he spent so much money on building his palace, that the people had enough of it.
