We then went to Stonehenge which was nearby.
June 2008 Katie, Anne & Chris went to the quaint English town of Salisbury for Sunday Roast.
Even when it's cold outside the stones retain heat and are warm to the touch!
It's believed that the the standing stones were erected around 2200 BC and the surrounding circular earth bank and ditch, the earliest phase of the monument, dates to about 3100 BC.
