LATIN AMERICA STAYED A FARMING NATION. THE US, GREAT BRITAIN, AND LOCAL LAND OWNERS GOT RICH. THIS WAS ECONOMIC IMPERIALISM. 2. 1905: THE R0OSEVELT COROLLARY TO THE MONROE DOCTRINE WAS ISSUED BY THE US. THIS DECLARED THE US AS POLICE MEN OF THE CARIBBEAN.
