You and your best friend, Kirk, are walking home together, as you always do. You've known him fir seven years (since you were nine); and since you moved here with your foster parents. You both headed to his tree house, like always, to do homework. But after you both finish, you always end up kissing.Today, you kissed goodbye, and you headed home, reflecting on what he said. Kirk thinks that you should tell Sasha and Dan (your foster parents) that your dating. You decide to, but everything takes a turn for the worst. They yell at you, you pack your bags, and you go over to Kirk's house.
You aren't surprised that he's ready to go because he can see your room from his window. You bothi get in his truck and just drive. After about three hours of driving, you stop at a motel for the night. When you get to your room, you decide that neither of you will ever go back to your house. Kirk's mom already offered a spare room, and you denied. But, right now, that room sounded pretty good. You talked, he listened, and then you ended up watching "The Last Song." But you two kissed through half of the movie. The next day, you go back to his house and you move in, but you weren't expacting what was waiting for you on the bed; white roses and a note.
Dear ___. We've know eachother for forever, and I just wanted to say that I love you, ___. I always have, and I always will. The white roses symbolize my love for you: pure. There's one fake rose in the bunch; I will love you until the last rose dies. Forever and always. I don't know if you love me, too, but it's okay; I just felt like I had to get it out there. Love (look up at the doorway)You look up, and see that he's standing there. "Love, the one person who has been, and always will be, the one you can trust; who you can count on; who will always love you, no matter what, ___. I love you." YOu drop the note onto the bed and run up to him; he smiles, picks you up, and twirls you around. You smile and say, "I loe you , too, Kirk."
